Meet Chelie

Chelie was born June 1, 2010, at 7 months gestation. On June 15th she was brought to COTP by her mother and aunt. Chelie's mom had been living with her mother, brother, and a 1 year old son. Prior to admission Chelie she was breastfed by her mother. She was not sucking well. A doctor who saw her suggested the mother bring her to COTP. The mother asks that we take care of the baby until she is older and less fragile. She is currently being fed via NG tube. Chelie weighed 0.81 kg (1 lb 13.5 oz) at admission. Please pray for Chelie as she has a long road ahead of her for growing and remaining healthy and stable.
